Historically the home of the farm’s cowman, Chloe’s Cottage was the home of it’s namesake, Desmond Maccarthy’s mother, who resided here until 2018, when she died just shy of her 103rd birthday.

The Cottage is full of character, nestled in a unique position at the edge of the farmyard. It’s west facing views stretch out over the wild flower meadow, from an enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. There is also a small garden to the rear, overlooking the farmyard. It is a stone’s throw from the Wiveton Hall Cafe and Shop.

Prices

Prices range from £180 per night; minimum 3 night stay.

Weeks run from Friday or Monday.
3 night weekend breaks from Friday – Monday (2 night weekends are available in low season.)
4 night midweek breaks from Monday – Friday.

£20 per dog, per stay.

Ground Floor

  • Entrance hall leading into the dining room with wood-burner, large dining table and dresser.
  • Kitchen with large American style fridge, range cooker.
  • Cloakroom and with wc and small bath. Door leading into garden.

First Floor

  • Bedroom 1 with double bed, bureau, 2 sets of drawers. Double aspect. En suite with modern shower and WC.
  • Bedroom 2 with double bed, drawers and integral wardrobes. Door to daybed room. Farmyard view.
  • Bedroom 3 with 2 singles, drawers and dresser, door to daybed room. Farmyard view.
  • Room with single daybed, access into bathroom from bedrooms 2 and 3.

Outside

  • Enclosed gardens to the front and rear.
  • Patio area with garden furniture.
  • Spectacular views westward, over the wildflower meadow with the sea and marshes to the North.
  • Ample car parking.

Conditions

  • Deposit of 25% to be paid upon confirmation of booking
  • Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival
  • £250 refundable damage deposit payable for all bookings
  • Extras and breakages to be paid for prior to your departure
